The short version: your microphone and camera are processed entirely inside your own browser. This site has no server component that receives, records, or stores your audio or video — there is nothing for us to collect in the first place.

1. What this site does with your microphone and camera

When you click "Start Mic Test" or "Start Camera Test," your browser asks your permission to access the selected microphone or camera, exactly as it would for a video-calling app. Once granted, the audio/video stream is passed directly to your browser's built-in Web Audio and WebRTC APIs to draw the live level meter, waveform, and video preview you see on screen. That stream is never transmitted to any server, saved to disk, or recorded in any form. Closing the tab, refreshing the page, or clicking "Stop" immediately ends access and turns off the meter and preview.

You can revoke microphone or camera permission at any time through your browser's site settings (usually the lock or camera icon in the address bar), and you can confirm this by checking whether your device's camera indicator light turns off when you stop the test.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics tool we use may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited, for security and basic usage statistics. 3. Cookies and third-party advertising

This site is supported by advertising served through third-party ad networks, which may include Adsterra, Monetag, and/or Google AdSense. We do not control these cookies directly and do not receive the underlying data they collect.

Because this site does not maintain user accounts or a server-side database of visitor identities, most of these requests would need to be directed to the third-party ad and analytics providers named above, whose own policies explain how to exercise those rights with them directly.

5. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
